I was really hooked on Spenser mysteries straight out of college. Eventually they become pretty repetitive, but I still like him and his crew of repeating characters. It was interesting to read this at the same time I'm reading [b:Don Quixote|3836|Don Quixote|Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1309376671s/3836.jpg|121842] since the chivalry overlap is amusing. Spenser is a bit more realistic, though. Still he has his simple code, he is unflinchingly loyal to his lady, and he does seek to save others, with or without recompense. This was VERY quick and easy reading, but it made me smile.
